April 6 2026 Newsletter

Dear Ward 7 Neighbors,

I can’t believe it’s already April! Over the last few months, my office engaged with our neighbors in a variety of ways to shape our budget proposals, through community listening sessions, conversations with business and industry leaders, and the dedicated input of local organizations. In March we shared our budget letter to the Mayor, informed by what we heard from the community and rooted in the voices of Ward 7 residents.

Now, the budget process is far from over. The budget hearing schedule has been officially released, and we expect to receive the Mayor’s budget at the end of next week. I encourage all Ward 7 residents to attend and testify at budget hearings to advocate for priorities.

Through this budget and through continued partnership, we will build a Ward 7 that is safer, stronger, healthier, more equitable, and full of opportunity for every single resident.
