Dear Ward 7 Neighbors,

What a fun-filled Ward 7 Week! We welcomed over 900 neighbors throughout the week at our different events. From bike rides to Taco Tuesday’s to trivia and basketball, it was so great to see so many new and familiar faces! Unfortunately, Ward 7 Week is coming to a close tomorrow. If you didn’t get a chance to join us at one of our events earlier this week, make sure to stop by tomorrow for Ward 7 Community Day! Community Day will take place from 12:00PM-5:00PM at the Ridge Road Rec Center (830 Ridge Rd. SE). There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, moonbounces, shaved ice, yard games, health screenings, RCV machines, music, an open mic, and so much more! I am looking forward to spending my Saturday with you all!

Additionally, this past week, the Council officially came off of summer recess. While I had so much fun this summer out in the community with you all, it’s time for me to take a seat back behind the dais! The Committee of the Whole will hold our first legislative meeting this coming Tuesday, September 22nd. As legislative hearings and roundtables are added to the Council calendar, please be sure to sign up to testify for the issues that matter most to you!
