Dear Neighbors,
Can you believe it’s already Thanksgiving? As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to begin by saying how thankful I am for the opportunity to serve Ward 7. Thanksgiving is more than a holiday — it is a reminder of what binds us together: community, compassion, and the power of showing up for one another.
Last week, my team and I were honored to host our Thanksgiving Giveaway over the course of two days. On Thursday, we delivered turkeys to senior buildings across the ward, making sure our older residents felt seen, valued, and supported. On Friday, we welcomed neighbors to RFK, where we had the pleasure of distributing turkeys, gift cards, and fresh produce. Together, we served more than 2,000 Ward 7 residents. None of this would have been possible without the support of our partners. Your commitment to serving Ward 7 families truly embodies the spirit of community and Thanksgiving.
