Art in Transit Outreach

On October 7, Metro is partnering with American University’s Humanities Truck to engage customers and community members in-person at Deanwood Station. Visitors can learn about the temporary artwork project, share ideas and feedback about the station’s future art installation, connect Metro with local artists and cultural organizations, and participate in activities that celebrate Deanwood’s history, culture, creativity, and community stories. The Humanities Truck will serve as a mobile space for conversation, storytelling, and collecting community perspectives to help inform the project.
