JUNE 27, 2025 NEWSLETTER

Dear Neighbors,

As we wrap up another week of budget hearings and committee markups, I want to thank every Ward 7 neighbor who took the time to testify, write in, call, or speak up. Your voices have been powerful and essential in shaping the priorities we continue to fight for.

This week, I participated in budget markups for the committees I serve on: the Committe of the Whole, the Committee on Health, the Committee on Business and Economic Development, the Committee on Public Works and Operations, the Committee on Human Services, and the Committee on the Judiciary and Public Safety. Each of these committees plays a critical role in delivering the services our community relies on — and I made sure Ward 7’s needs were front and center in every conversation.

While we’ve made progress, there’s still more work ahead. I remain committed to fighting for what Ward 7 deserves — fully funded schools, safe neighborhoods, quality health care, cleaner streets, and meaningful economic opportunity. Your continued engagement makes all the difference.

Let’s keep moving forward — together!
