Dear Neighbors,

Over these last two weeks, our office has been hard at work for Ward 7 and the District. You may have even seen us knock on your door or walk around your neighborhood, as part of our commitment to meeting neighbors where they’re at. Our door knocking efforts are far from over, so if you haven’t seen us yet, keep an eye out!

At our November 4th legislative meeting, we took significant action to strengthen the Earned Income and Child Tax Credit that will deliver real benefits for Ward 7 families. I also participated in two public roundtables dedicated to examining the issues our constituents are facing when it comes to effective housing voucher delivery and timely lease-ups. At each of these, I made sure that Ward 7 concerns were represented.

In the community, we heard important updates around the Fort Dupont Ice Arena and the Hillcrest Aquatic Center, held a transportation town hall with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), and more.
